Rainforest Alliance Header - With Frog

Drury is a strong supporter of the Rainforest Alliance. In fact, these days, 40% of our coffee turnover happens to be made up of coffees sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms. Drury works with the Rainforest Alliance partly because of the principles of ethics and sustainability they stand for, but also because the coffee is of truly exceptional quality. More than 70 years’ experience of coffee blending and roasting has gone into the development of our current range of Rainforest Alliance Certified™ coffees.

The Rainforest Alliance

The Rainforest Alliance helps to ensure workers’ rights are protected; that they are safeguarded at work; that they and their families have access to healthcare and education. The Alliance is also dedicated to conserving local ecosystems, protecting wildlife and helping farmers to introduce better working practices to make their land more productive.

Follow the Frog

Frog in Espresso Cup

For over 25 years the Rainforest Alliance has been using certification as the tool to ensure that millions of acres of farmland are managed according to rigorous sustainability standards. The Rainforest Alliance Certified™ seal – the green frog – links businesses to consumers who are seeking brands and products that help meet their personal values and concerns. The seal is a visible yet simple way of demonstrating to your customers your commitment to responsible business practices in a modern, competitive environment.

By sourcing Rainforest Alliance Certified™ coffees from Drury, you are doing more than serving an excellent cup of coffee. You are showing the world that you care about how your coffee is grown and harvested.

Supply Issues

“Due to supply chain disruptions, we are currently unable to source enough certified coffee for our Cuidado & Cuidado Light blends with the Rainforest Alliance certification seal. This means that these products will only contain 72% Rainforest Alliance Certified ingredients. We apologize for the inconvenience. As soon as this supply shortage is resolved, we expect to return to sourcing from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms for these products by 1st March 2024. We will also purchase a volume of certified coffee equivalent to what we would have used during this period, doing our part to help support farmers and protect the environment.”
